This is a piece of mahogany wood with a cherry band as an outside border.
The entire table is shown in a bassano finish. The mahogany gives the table
top more depth with its rich grain. The cherry wood border is a much lighter wood therefore offering a dramatic contrast to the two woods.If you desire less of a contrast than we would suggest a walnut band. The mahogany top with or without band is available as on option on any of our Italian Dining Tables made in all wood.
